5 Days Old!

Thank you to the M Family for allowing me to photograph your gorgeous new son...he is absolutely precious!  I can't wait to see this little guy with his big sister :)

Newborns = New Avenue for Heather Lauffer Photography!

Last week I had the pleasure of taking a road trip to spend the day mentoring with a fantastic newborn photographer in another state.  I cannot put into words how much of an impact this trip had on my photography career, as I have developed a new love (and appreciation) for the art of newborn "baby posing!"  I brought back from this trip a wealth of knowledge, a plan for building my own indoor studio and a lifelong photographer friend, who embodies a tremendous amount of talent and desire, that I strive to attain...and I will! Below are 3 pictures showcasing just a glimpse of what I am now capable of!!!  Stay tuned, as I have 6 babies all due within the next 6 weeks :)

I adore these boys...I have been looking forward to capturing these first few days of the new brothers getting to know each other for a very long time :)

Baby Posing!

 I (we) worked super hard for these pictures and I am so pleased to say that they paid off....tremendously!!!  Baby Will (almost 2 weeks) has several new nicknames now, courtesy of his FAVORITE "paparrazi" photographer.  I think I will wait to share those names with him when he gets older :)  Thank you so very much Meagan and Caroline for all that you did to make these shots as perfect as he is...

Newborn Shoot: Tarheel Fan

I love what I do and when I get to cuddle a snuggly newborn, the world is an even better place.  Isn't this Tarheel fan precious?!  Honestly, when shooting his pictures, I completely forgot that I am an NCSU grad!

Newborn Shoot: 1 Day old

If baby brother has eyes and lips like his big brother...could you even imagine?!  I have been anxiously awaiting this birth for what seems like an eternity and baby Will is finally here.  I will be capturing his full newborn shoot next week...stay tuned!

3 Babies at Once!!! 10 week old TRIPLETS!!!

I am fortunate enough to have met an AMAZING photographer that invited me to "tag along" on one of her photo shoots this week as a learning experience. When I found out who we would be working with....well, I didn't know what to say...10 week old TRIPLETS!!! This was my friend's 1st "multiple" shoot and she did an incredible job. I learned soooo much from her! In between "baby wrangling" I took these two pictures. Thank you so very much "A" for allowing me the opportunity to learn from you...

Baby Girl C: 4 Weeks

While not one of my formal photo shoots, I couldn't resist snapping a few pics of this precious baby girl when I stopped by her house to bring her family dinner. What a sweetheart...

Newborn: 10 Days Old

One word that I would use to describe this 10 day old baby girl...perfect. And perfect she is...Born to dear friends of mine, this little girl is surrounded by a loving family and an equally perfect big brother. Life doesn't get much better than this...

Newborn Shoot: Brier Creek

What to do when it is bitter cold out and you have a newborn...and they want to shoot in a different location other than their house...you enlist favors from friends and family of course! These cutie pies were photographed in the Brier Creek thanks to my sister, who let us shoot at her model home. Toll Brothers builds fabulous homes and this location is fantastic for capturing a snuggly newborn and her adorable big brother!
